BURN PERMITS
Burn permits are required for outdoor open burning of organic materials of within the District. You need to purchase a permit through the North Blaine County Fire District if you are planning to burn. Permits are $50, and can be paid with cash or check made out to NBCFD. Chief Bauer will do a site check of your property before approving and issuing the permit. Click here to view the rules and regulations for Open Burning in the District.

TENT PERMITS
Tents sized above 20x20 are required to have an inspection and a permit. These include party tents, event tents, construction tents and more. You need to have an inspection and permit filed through Sun Valley Fire Department if you are planning to use a large tent for an event. Organizers should schedule these checks ahead of time, as day of inspections are not always feasible.

PLAN CHECKS
Plan checks are essential to any construction in the District. You can schedule a plan review with Chief Bauer, the District's Fire Marshal, before officially submitting plans through Blaine County. All plans are now submitted digitally through Blaine County, and forwarded to Chief Bauer for review.
